About Crypto Converter
Cryptocurrency prices move constantly, making it essential to have a reliable, up-to-date converter at hand when you need to know what your holdings are worth in your local currency. Our Crypto Converter pulls live market data for over 100 cryptocurrencies and converts them to major fiat currencies including USD, EUR, BRL, GBP, JPY, and more — with no account, no app, and no delays.
Prices are sourced from CoinGecko and cached locally in your browser for five minutes, so repeated conversions do not trigger extra API calls. Each conversion displays a 24-hour price change badge so you can see at a glance whether the market is up or down since yesterday. The multi-currency table shows your amount converted into all eight supported currencies simultaneously, making it easy to compare values across different markets. If the API cannot be reached, the converter falls back to the last prices it saved in your browser and flags clearly that the data is cached, so a flaky connection does not leave you with a blank screen.
The swap button lets you instantly reverse the conversion — going from crypto-to-fiat to fiat-to-crypto in one click. This is useful when you know how much you want to spend in dollars and need to know how much crypto that buys, or vice versa.

Frequently Asked Questions
Prices are fetched from CoinGecko's free public API, one of the most trusted sources for cryptocurrency market data. No API key is required.
Prices are cached locally for 5 minutes to stay current without hitting API rate limits. After the cache expires, fresh data is fetched automatically. You can also click Refresh to force a manual update.
Partly. The last prices you loaded are kept in your browser's localStorage. If the API is unreachable, the tool falls back to those stored prices and shows a notice telling you the data is cached, so you can still convert with the most recent rates it has. A first visit with no connection has nothing to fall back on.
Click the ⇄ button to swap the direction. The From field will become the fiat currency and the To field will show how much crypto your amount buys at the current price.
The badge next to the result shows the percentage price change for the selected cryptocurrency over the last 24 hours. Green means the price went up; red means it went down.
Yes. USDT (Tether), USDC and DAI are all included in the coin list. Their prices will show values very close to 1 USD.
